Thomson Reuters Confirmation joins the International Bankers Association of Japan

The International Bankers Association of Japan is pleased to welcome Thomson Reuters® Confirmation to the membership.

Thomson Reuters Confirmation is a digital platform and global network used by audit firms, banks and law firms to verify financial data. Having introduced electronic confirmations over twenty years ago, Confirmation reshaped the audit confirmation process, and today its validated network is used by around 1.5 million auditors, bankers and financial professionals worldwide.

Part of Thomson Reuters, the business information group, Confirmation supports a core part of the external audit, where an auditor verifies balances directly with a bank. Once handled by post, fax or email, this step now runs through Confirmation's secure digital platform, which helps identify fraud and places the firm in regular contact with financial institutions worldwide.
