Cybersecurity insights 2023: Budgets and benchmarks for financial services institutions

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has released a report on benchmarks for cybersecurity budgeting for financial institutions, as prevention of cyberattacks remains paramount to the trust and health of an organization.
Financial institutions with in-house cybersecurity operations and those considering outsourcing their cybersecurity operations, may find the data to be useful in keeping their organizations secure and compliant to industry standards.

Executive Summary:
The conditions most likely to play out over the next few months—the combination of high interest rates, greater regulatory pressure, and potentially moderating, but still troubling, inflation—are trends many senior financial services industry (FSI) leaders have seen before. But many of their employees, especially those from younger generations, haven’t, so leaders will need to help their people navigate through uncertainty and near-term challenges and find opportunities.
