With Japan's FDI regulations undergoing their most significant expansion in years, last month IBA Japan was pleased to host Shintaro Okawa of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto for a members' webinar on the amendment bill to Japan's Foreign Direct Investment regulations.
The session was very well attended, reflecting the timeliness and relevance of the topic. Mr. Okawa's ability to present a clear and accessible overview of what is an inherently complex regulatory landscape was particularly appreciated by attendees.
The most critical details remain delegated to the forthcoming Cabinet Order, and we hope to revisit the topic with Mr. Okawa.
