Global Finance and Technology Network Japan joins the International Bankers Association of Japan

We are pleased to welcome the Global Finance & Technology Network Japan (GFTN) as a new member of the International Bankers Association of Japan.

Established in 2024 by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a not for profit organisation, GFTN is a Singapore headquartered network that leverages technology and innovation to create more efficient, resilient and inclusive financial systems through global collaboration. It is widely recognised for convening the Singapore FinTech Festival, and has been expanding its focus in Japan since 2023.

GFTN hosts a worldwide network of forums and programmes, advises governments and companies on policies and the development of digital ecosystems and innovation within the financial sector, offers digital infrastructure solutions, and plans to invest in financial technology startups through its upcoming venture fund with a focus on inclusion and sustainability.

We look forward to engaging with GFTN and to the perspectives it will bring to discussions across the IBA Japan membership.
