On Tuesday, IBA Japan was pleased to host an in-person seminar in collaboration with our new associate member TDC Global, on How Diverse Perspectives and Inclusive Leadership Are Shaping the Future of Financial Services.
The candid discussion explored key shifts in the financial services sector, including intergenerational wealth transfer, a broadening investor base, digital acceleration, compliance, and talent retention. The panellists highlighted how inclusive leadership and diverse perspectives are essential for resilience and competitiveness in today’s evolving landscape.
We thank Sarah Liu (TDC Global) for the key insights from their research on factors influencing the talent landscape for financial services, and her skilful moderation, guiding the conversation to bring out unique perspectives from our distinguished panellists Akiko Koda (Goldman Sachs Japan), who spoke to the importance of cross-cultural and cross-generational perspectives in leadership, and Katsumi Fujikawa, CFA (Amundi Japan), who emphasised creating space for talent to communicate and grow.
