IBA Japan is honored to welcome Mr. Nakatsuka, former Minister for Financial Services, to give an address to IBA Japan members.
Mr. Nakatsuka will discuss a variety of topics, including:
- His experience as Minister for Financial Services;
- The Japanese economy and financial markets; and
- Recent financial regulations, in Japan and abroad
Mr. Nakatsuka is originally from Kyoto. He graduated with an engineering degree from Kyoto University, and in 2000 he was elected to the Lower House. He assumed the position of Senior Vice Minister for Financial Services and Gender Equality in October 2011, and Minister in October 2012, under Prime Minister Noda’s administration.
