It was a pleasure to welcome over 250 guests to the IBA Japan 41st Annual General Meeting and Reception on November 18.
This flagship event brought together a record number of IBA members from across the financial industry, who were joined by senior officials from a wide range of Japanese regulators, authorities, administration, embassies and market participants. The occasion never fails to provide a unique opportunity to deepen the connections between the international financial community in Japan and their key partners in a stylish yet informal setting.

At the Reception, Mr. Takashi Hibino, Chairman and CEO of the Japan Securities Dealers Association, offered important insights into the evolving role of market participants, and Mr. Hiromi Yamaji, President and Group CEO of the Japan Stock Exchange Group, kindly opened the reception with a warm and collegial toast that set a positive tone for the evening.
