Haruhiko (Harry) Saito is CEO and Managing Director of Tokyo International Consulting K.K, rebranded from KFi K.K., formerly known as KPMG Financial Services Consulting, Inc. Mr. Saito has advised more than 300 domestic and foreign financial institutions regarding regulatory issues and currently covers major Japanese banks as well as IBA members. Prior to that, Mr. Saito worked at the Bank of Japan mostly in the banking policy area, such as capital adequacy rules, derivatives regulatory guidelines, etc. Mr. Saito has served as Japan’s official member in various working groups at the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) as well as IOSCO. Mr. Saito holds a BA in Law from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from Harvard University.
