The IBA is pleased to welcome Mr. Oh Miyashita, an attorney with the law office of TMI Associates, to discuss the two Q&As which the FSA recently amended/issued. This session should be of interest to those working in legal, compliance and investment banking. It is intended to help answer questions arising from the amendments and changes to:
- the FSA’s amended Q&A on the takeover bid (TOB) regulations; and
- the FSA’s new Q&A on the large shareholder reporting (5% rule).
Mr. Miyashita advises in the areas of Corporate Law, M&A and Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Prior to his return to the legal practice, he served for two years and a half as the Deputy Director of the FSA’s Corporate Accounting and Disclosure Division, where he played a central role in drafting the Q&As. Mr. Miyashita is a graduate of Keio University and a member of the Tokyo Bar Association.
