BSC General Managers Meeting and Reception The IBA’s Banking Sector Committee (BSC) held its fourth General Managers meeting at Standard Chartered Bank’s Priority Banking branch in Marunouchi. The event featured a keynote address by Mr. Masamichi Kono, Deputy Director General of the FSA’s Supervisory Bureau, who discussed the global financial crisis, lessons from Japan’s recent experience and international measures to improve and enhance the regulatory framework. The speech was followed by a reception attended by senior IBA bankers and FSA, BOJ and SESC officials.
