The IBA is pleased to welcome two senior FSA officials to give an overview of the financial inspections policies for banks for 2008-09. IBA events featuring updates from senior officials of the FSA are always well attended and a source of timely information.


Mr. Nagaoka and Mr. Sonoda will discuss recent developments in financial inspections conducted by the FSA Inspection Bureau. Their talks will address:

  • Efforts toward ‘better regulation’ initiatives in the area of financial inspections

    -  Basic concepts on the conduct of inspections

    -  Current inspection focuses and priorities
