Speaker:  Mr. Hirotsugu Iikubo, Chairman and CEO of Decision Systems Inc.

 

From his extensive career in developing critical thinking processes for hundreds of companies, Mr. Iikubo addressed the Personnel Information Forum on the following areas:

 

1. Does the Japanese mind think differently in terms of decision making?

 

2. How to develop 'conceptual skills' to improve the speed and quality of decision making

 

3. Improving communications using 'common conceptual language'

 

Since 1984, Mr. Iikubo has been the Chairman and CEO of Decision Systems Inc. He established and served as President of JEC, Inc. in 1962 and later Kepner Tregoe (Japan) Inc. in 1972. Currently, he is the Honorary Ambassador to Japan for the State of Indiana and sits on the Board of Trustees for Aoyama Gakuin in Tokyo and DePauw University in Indiana. In addition, he is a member of A50-Fulbright Scholarship Selection Committee and has been a Visiting Professor at the Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo since 2001. Mr. Iikubo is the author of 12 books including his latest one entitled“15 Tools for Solutions” published in 2004.
