Mr. Neil Katkov of Celent provided an overview of the history and current state of BCP in Japan, BCP drivers and barriers, and the role of regulators. He also discussed The Center for Financial Industry Information Systems (FISC) guidelines, as well some general benchmarks of current BCP levels at banks and securities firms in Japan.

Following Dr. Katkov's presentation, IBA member participated in an off-the-record roundtable discussion on BCP and disaster management best practices.
